Unveiling overlooked insights into denture hygiene care - A local study revelation

Denture hygiene care, often takes a back seat in the managements of patients with removable dentures irrespective of their age. We tend to spend more time focusing in constructing a good denture but the subsequent post-delivery care tends to be overlooked. A recent study on the knowledge, attitude and practice of denture hygiene among elderly patients visiting dental facilities in the Faculty of Dentistry, UKM provides an insight onto the current denture care adopted by the elderly patients and their level of awareness regarding personal denture maintenance.
