Adhesive dentistry has completely evolved and modified the treatment planning and procedural steps of modern dentistry. The use of adhesive systems with polymeric materials, ceramics and also dental alloy has allowed clinicians to preserve more sound dental structures during restorative procedures apart then reaching outstanding aesthetic results with good mechanical strength and longevity when use with tooth-coloured restorative materials. The aim of this lecture is to give an overview on how to apply adhesive dentistry in day-to-day practice.
