Headache and muscle aches are commonly reported symptoms of a viral flu infection, sometimes causing severe discomfort.^1,2

Although there is no cure for the flu, various therapies are available to ease the pain of headaches and muscle aches, including analgesics.^3-5

Headaches and muscle pains are a common complaint during the flu^1,2

Headaches and muscle aches are caused by the body’s immune response to a viral infection.^6,7
Regulating part of this immune reaction with analgesics is key for relieving headaches and muscle aches from the flu.^5,8-10
