Packshots of Panadol product range for adults; Panadol mini caps, Panadol tablets, Panadol Extra, Panadol Optizorb, Panadol Rapid, Panadol Liquid caps, Panadol cold & flu, Panadol Rapid

Pack size transition commences in October 2024

In line with the TGA-mandated changes to the scheduling of some oral, non-prescription paracetamol-containing products, Panadol pack sizes and accessibility are changing.

Larger pack sizes will be up-scheduled to S3 from 1 February 2025. These accessibility changes differ according to state-based legislation. Restrictions are greater in QLD and WA, where all pack sizes >16 will be moved behind the pharmacy counter and require advice from a pharmacist before purchase. In all other states and territories pack sizes > 48 will be behind the counter.
